Update
Hi everybody. It has been a while since this has been updated so we will try and give you the low-down on everything Mercuryhat. Eric has been playing a bunch of solo acoustic gigs with and without Robert. Eric has also been in and out of the studio lending a hand to his Lost Sailor brother Martin England. Martin will be releasing his debut solo album in late spring early summer.
Eric and Martin plan on playing some solo acoustic dates this spring and summer. Martin and Eric will be at the Portsmouth Hilton this Saturday night at 8 PM.! Former Mercuryhat member Cole Gove just released his debut solo album Cole & The Makeout Scene "Gala Was A Tiger". Cole will be at the Red Door in Portsmouth tonight. Keyboard player Tom Ferry has started a side project called Whiskey Kill, Robert will be playing lead on this project. Eric has been writing and recording dozens of demos for an upcoming acoustic ep in the near future. Mercuryhat full band has some dates on the calendar and will be adding more dates soon.
Hope everyone is well.

New Christmas Song!
Hello; A few weeks back I was talking with my friend Chris Shaw. We were talking about Christmas imagery you notice shortly after Halloween. Then we just started calling out stupid, silly things and just saying, "It Must Be Christmas". Chris said, dude you need to write a song about that. So that night I went home and recorded a demo. I sent it out to friends and got an amazing response. I felt a bit guilty cause it was not the best performance. So I re-recorded the vocals and asked friends, Jesse and Courtney to sing and play on it. So, here it is. You can hear it in it's entirety and also download the Mp3 with some bastard artwork that goes along with it (not really).
